Transcending Sorrow

In an ever-shrinking existance
Man will find new worlds to explore
Will this eventually bring us closer to god
Or bring god closer to us?
Are we perhaps on the verge of creating him?

His father used to tell him stories of the past
When life was true and ever growing
As he remembers how the old man told his tales
His sense of loss is overwhelming

Where is he? Where has he gone?
Transcending the human form

Now fifteen years have passed since
Mourning at the grave
He shed his last tears and his old self
The old gods died on him
And others took their place
And all his worship took a new form

Where are they? Where have they gone?
Transcend them – into the storm

But somewhere on his way
To knowledge he went wrong
And his ambitions turned to madness
Forlorn in misty dreams
He never could conceive
That his creation could surpass him

Точно с HOLLOW завършвам тази кратка моя поредица, посветена на някои неизвестни или слабоизвестни у нас рок и метъл банди. От утре в ход влиза Class of 1989 - една поредица, в която ще представя най-добрите албуми на далечната за някои 1989-та година. Година преломна в музикално (и не само отношение), в която се родиха някои от най-добрите албуми в рок и метъл музиката. Именно с някои от тях ще ви запозная в следващите седмици.
